Four 3-Axle Curtain-Sider Semi-Trailers Exported to Kyrgyzstan via Irkeshtam Port
October 19, 2026
Recently, four customized 3-axle curtain-sider semi-trailers successfully completed factory quality inspection and customs formalities. The units set off from the special-purpose vehicle manufacturing base and will cross the border through Irkeshtam Port to be delivered to clients in Kyrgyzstan. This project represents another milestone in cross-border logistics equipment trade between China and Kyrgyzstan under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Curtain-Sider Semi-Trailers for Efficient Palletized Cargo Transportation
Curtain-sider semi-trailers belong to the category of box semi-trailers, specially engineered for palletized goods including auto spare parts, beer, beverages and other packaged commodities. The side curtains can be rapidly unfolded to enable forklift operations from both sides of the trailer. A full loading or unloading cycle can be completed within 5 minutes, greatly cutting down dock waiting time. Meanwhile, the trailers inherit the rainproof and dustproof performance of conventional box semi-trailers to protect cargo against harsh outdoor weather. When loading goods, multiple forklifts can work simultaneously once the side curtains are fully opened. Combined with standardized pallets, the internal space utilization rate can be maximized. Proper cargo arrangement helps evenly distribute axle loads, which enhances driving safety and lowers long-term component wear.
Customized Configurations and Technical Features
These exported 3-axle trailers feature flexible customization to meet diverse transport requirements. Customers can choose tailored body lengths and interior layouts according to cargo types and transport routes. Side curtains are supplied in PVC, polyester and other fabric options with waterproof and anti-UV properties; both manual and electric curtain sliding systems are available for selection. The main beam adopts Q345 high-strength carbon steel to balance lightweight design and structural strength. Equipped with BPW or FUWA axles, buyers may select mechanical suspension or air suspension as preferred, with load capacity ranging from 30 tons up to 100 tons. Kingpins and landing gears adopt internationally recognized brands. The whole vehicle is built to adapt to long-haul plateau road conditions in Central Asia and fully complies with TIR international road transport regulations. In addition, brake and electrical systems are configured for stable performance in variable climates. Body paint colours and curtain printing patterns can also be customized as requested.

Supporting Cross-Border Logistics Between China and Kyrgyzstan
Supported by streamlined clearance services at the port, the semi-trailers will be shipped by road directly to Kyrgyzstan without intermediate transshipment, effectively shortening the overall delivery cycle. As the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan international transport corridor continues to advance, Kyrgyzstan has seen growing demand for high-efficiency pallet transport equipment. After delivery, these four curtain-sider semi-trailers will be put into cross-border freight operations connecting Bishkek, Osh and other major cities, helping improve the efficiency of local palletized cargo circulation. A senior representative of the manufacturer stated that Central Asia remains one of the company’s core overseas markets. The enterprise will keep developing customized special semi-trailers suited to local road and climate conditions, and continuously promote trade and logistics connectivity between China and Central Asian countries.

Continued Growth in Central Asian Logistics Demand
With the steady progress of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan transport corridor, Kyrgyzstan’s demand for high-efficiency pallet transport equipment continues to grow. The four 3-axle curtain-sider semi-trailers will serve cross-border freight routes connecting Bishkek and Osh to lift local pallet cargo turnover efficiency. A company official said Central Asia is a key overseas market. The firm will keep rolling out custom-built semi-trailers tailored to local roads and climates, strengthening trade and logistics links between China and Central Asia.
